Responsibilities

Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic heavy equipment safely and effectively to perform tasks.

Requirements

Proven construction experience with a solid understanding of construction processes and safety standards.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation.

We are seeking energetic and skilled GPS & Non-GPS Dozer Operators to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will operate both GPS-guided and traditional dozers to perform earthmoving tasks essential for large-scale infrastructure projects. Your expertise will help ensure precise grading, leveling, and site preparation, contributing to the successful completion of complex projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and be part of a motivated team dedicated to excellence in construction.

Duties

Operate GPS-enabled and conventional dozers to move earth, gravel, and other materials efficiently and accurately
Perform site grading, leveling, and excavation tasks according to project specifications using advanced machinery
If able, assist with the operation of auxiliary equipment such as loaders, backhoes, excavators, graders, and paving machines to support project needs
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met
Collaborate with team members to execute construction plans, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
Utilize mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor equipment issues and performing basic repairs when necessary
Support operations and other specialized tasks as required by project scope

Requirements

Proven experience operating dozers, including GPS-guided models, in a construction environment
Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
If able to operate related machinery such as loaders, backhoes, excavators, packers, and other equipment
Valid class 5 driver’s license with 5 year drivers abstract
Experience with in a mine environment or earthworks projects
Knowledge of equipment is highly desirable
Demonstrated construction experience with a focus on earthmoving and site preparation
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment

Shift - 14/7

Travel In / Out (Travel only paid from Saskatoon,SK to Key Lake, SK)

Out-of-province applicants are responsible for all travel costs to and from Saskatoon, SK.

12 hour days (Overtime after 8)

Camp Accommodations

D&A Test Required | WHIMIS Training Provided | Ground Disturbance Level 2 | Metatarsal Boots Required

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Work Location: On the road
