About the Opportunity & Team Expansion

We are building an AI-native Operating System designed to revolutionize the Engineering Consulting Industry. Developed directly inside an established engineering firm with ten+ years of real-world operational data, our platform combines AI Agents, Multi-modal RAG, Automated Workflow Orchestration, and Enterprise Knowledge Graphs.

We have recently added engineering capacity to our core team and are now seeking a battle-tested, highly autonomous Senior/Staff AI Engineer. You will partner with the our existing engineering team to rapidly prototype, architect, and ship production-ready enterprise AI features into daily production use.

Key Responsibilities

Rapid Feature Shipping: Write clean, highly scalable, and production-ready code (Python, Node.js/TypeScript, Vector DBs, Cloud infrastructure) to accelerate feature deployment.
Advanced AI Implementation: Architect end-to-end multi-agent workflows, autonomous agent tooling, complex enterprise RAG pipelines, and automated prompt engineering systems.
System Architecture & Scalability: Optimize backend API design, database schemas, asynchronous queues, and cloud deployments (AWS/Azure) for maximum speed and low latency.
Code Quality & Technical Leadership: Set aggressive coding standards, automated testing pipelines, and developer workflows; review code and guide existing engineering staff to boost team velocity.
Product-to-Code Translation: Partner directly with the Founder to instantly convert high-level business logic and complex engineering workflows into code execution.

Desired Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on professional software development experience with a strong track record of fast-paced delivery.
Deep Hands-on Experience with AI Architectures: Proven experience building and deploying production-grade LLM applications, RAG pipelines, vector search engines, and agentic workflows.
Expert Backend Engineering: Proficient in Python, Node.js/TypeScript, Docker, modern DBs (PostgreSQL, Vector DBs like Qdrant/Pinecone/Milvus), and cloud services.
Agile & High-Velocity Mindset: Thrives in a fast-iteration environment where shipping functional code is prioritized over lengthy documentation.
System Design Expertise: Deep understanding of async processing, REST/GraphQL APIs, microservices, and LLM orchestration tools (e.g., LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, LlamaIndex).

Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
