About the Role

We are looking for an energetic, driven, and people-focused Recruiter / Employment Specialist to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, building relationships, working in a fast-paced environment, and helping both candidates and businesses succeed.

As a Recruiter, you will manage the full recruitment cycle—from sourcing and interviewing candidates to coordinating placements and maintaining strong client relationships. You will also play an important role in growing our business by identifying new opportunities and developing relationships with prospective and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities

Source, screen, interview, and assess candidates for temporary, contract, and permanent positions
Match qualified candidates with appropriate job opportunities based on skills, experience, availability, and career goals
Prepare professional candidate profiles and recruiter submittals for clients
Coordinate interviews, job offers, onboarding, and placement details
Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment and placement process
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
Understand client hiring needs, workplace environments, and position requirements
Conduct business development activities, including prospecting, outbound calls, emails, and client follow-up
Identify opportunities to expand services with existing and prospective clients
Maintain accurate candidate, client, and job-order information within the recruitment/CRM system
Assist with attendance, performance, and assignment-related concerns when required
Work closely with the recruitment and sales team to achieve placement and revenue goals

What We’re Looking For

Previous recruiting, staffing, sales, customer service, or business development experience is an asset
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Comfortable speaking with candidates and business clients by phone, email, and in person
Confident conducting interviews and evaluating candidate qualifications
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and open positions
Results-driven and comfortable working toward recruitment and business-development targets
Professional, positive, and solutions-focused approach
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), CRM systems, LinkedIn, and online job boards is an asset
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment

What Success Looks Like

The successful Recruiter will be someone who can build a strong candidate pipeline, respond quickly to client staffing needs, create positive candidate experiences, develop lasting client relationships, and consistently identify opportunities to make successful placements.

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
