DC Security Inc. is a growing security services company committed to delivering professional, reliable, and customer-focused security solutions. We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and resourceful Junior Operations & Marketing Coordinator to support our marketing, recruitment, administration, and daily business operations.

Position Summary

The Operations admin plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day success of DC Security Inc. This position provides support across marketing, recruitment, administration, and operations while working closely with the Vice President of Operations. The successful candidate will help keep the organization running efficiently, coordinate priorities across departments, and contribute to the company's continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and grow the company's social media presence and marketing initiatives.
Coordinate recruitment, including posting job advertisements, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and assisting with onboarding.
Provide administrative support, including calendar management, emails, reports, correspondence, and document preparation.
Assist with daily operations, scheduling, project coordination, and process improvement.
Maintain organized records, employee files, and operational documentation.
Coordinate meetings, training sessions, and company events.
Monitor deadlines, follow up on action items, and ensure projects stay on track.
Support business development by preparing proposals, presentations, and marketing materials.
Serve as a liaison between management, employees, clients, and vendors.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and recommend process improvements.
Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Take ownership of special projects and provide proactive support to the Vice President of Operations and leadership team as needed.
Qualifications
Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in marketing, administration, recruitment, or operations.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience managing social media platforms.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is an asset.
Familiarity with recruitment platforms such as Indeed and LinkedIn.
Ability to multitask and prioritize competing responsibilities.
Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented.
Experience working in the security industry is considered an asset.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
