Raise is currently hiring a Project Manager – Capital Equipment & Mining Infrastructure on behalf of our client. Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
Description
The Project Manager (Capital Equipment) will oversee multiple capital equipment projects through their full lifecycle—from concept and framing through to execution and final implementation. In this role, you will align projects with the life-of-mine equipment cycles, ensuring all aspects of project planning and execution meet strict requirements regarding budget, schedule, scope, quality, and health, safety, and environment (HSE). This position requires a strong leader capable of managing diverse stakeholder relationships and driving operational efficiency in compliance with both our client and broader industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Project Lifecycle Management: Lead and manage multiple capital equipment projects simultaneously across various stages (concept, framing, planning, and implementation) in alignment with life-of-mine equipment cycles.

Execution & Compliance: Ensure all project milestones are executed efficiently, productively, and in strict compliance with ’s safety standards, quality frameworks, and regulatory requirements.

Financial & Scope Control: Deliver projects within established budgets, timelines, and defined scopes, actively tracking KPIs and variance.

Stakeholder & Resource Management: Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships, facilitate cross-functional solutions, and identify/secure the resources necessary for successful project delivery.

Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies to keep project timelines on track.

Reporting & Governance: Provide regular, transparent project status reports and updates to senior management and key stakeholders.

Culture & Safety Leadership: Promote a workplace culture consistent with ’s core values, emphasizing safety, integrity, and operational excellence.
Qualifications

4 to 9 years of combined work experience in mobile equipment and project management roles within a mining or industrial setting.

Direct experience working within an underground mining environment is strictly required.

Proficient in the MS Office Suite, with specific, hands-on experience utilizing MS Project for scheduling and tracking

Prior experience working within SAP is considered a strong asset.

Education and Certifications

A technical designation (Engineer/Technologist) or a relevant industrial trades background will be considered.

A combination of education and hands-on experience with heavy mobile equipment, equipment rebuilds, and/or equipment manufacturing projects is highly desirable.

Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is considered an asset.
