Help Shape the Future of the Niagara Association of REALTORS®

The Niagara Association of REALTORS® (NAR) is entering an exciting new chapter.

As part of our organizational evolution and commitment to delivering exceptional value to more than 1,500 REALTOR® members across Niagara, we are creating a brand-new leadership position: Manager, Professional Standards & Strategic Initiatives.

This is more than a Professional Standards role.

It is an opportunity to help shape the future of one of Ontario's leading real estate associations by protecting the integrity of the profession while driving strategic initiatives that strengthen member services, organizational excellence, education, advocacy, and innovation.

Working directly with the Executive Officer, this position will play an integral role in implementing NAR's Strategic Plan while helping lead projects that improve the member experience, support industry professionalism, and position the Association for continued success.

About the Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Executive Officer, the Manager, Professional Standards & Strategic Initiatives will provide leadership in the administration of the Association's Professional Standards program while supporting the implementation of strategic initiatives that advance organizational performance and member value.

This newly created position combines professional standards leadership with strategic planning, project management, organizational improvement, education, advocacy support, and research.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively across all departments and with volunteers, industry partners, and stakeholders to strengthen the Association's programs, policies, and services while ensuring professionalism remains at the heart of everything we do.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Professional Standards Leadership

Lead the Association's Professional Standards program.
Coordinate mediation, arbitration, and discipline processes acting as the Staff Liaison for the NAR Professional Standards and Arbitration Committee.
Support hearing panels and case administration.
Promote professionalism and ethical practice.
Ensure fair, transparent, and consistent professional standards processes.

Strategic Initiatives

Lead cross-department organizational projects.
Support implementation of NAR's Strategic Plan.
Research emerging industry trends and opportunities.
Develop policies, procedures, and operational improvements.
Identify innovative solutions that enhance organizational performance.

Professional Development

Coordinate professionalism and leadership learning opportunities.
Support REALTalk programming and educational initiatives.
Collaborate on new member onboarding.
Develop resources that promote professional excellence.

Advocacy & Research

Research housing, legislative, and industry issues.
Prepare briefing materials and policy research.
Support advocacy initiatives and stakeholder engagement.
Assist with government relations and strategic partnerships.

Organizational Leadership

Work collaboratively with the Executive Officer and leadership team.
Support organizational planning and continuous improvement.
Foster innovation and strategic thinking throughout the Association.
Help shape future initiatives that strengthen member value.

Experience in professional standards, dispute resolution, not-for-profit organizations, governance, real estate, law, public administration, education, or policy development would all be considered valuable assets.
