The Opportunity

Thind Immigration Ltd. is a respected immigration firm based in Canada, offering a comprehensive range of services for those looking to visit, study, work, or settle in Canada. This role is pivotal in assisting clients by managing their cases, processing documentation, and providing timely updates on their application statuses.

Role: Immigration Case Processor

What You Will Do

As a key member of our team, you will:

Information Collection:

Inform clients about the requirements for temporary residence, permanent residence, LMIA, or citizenship.
Handle telephone inquiries in accordance with our service standards.

Case Management:

Collect documentation according to checklists from IRCC, Service Canada, and Provincial Immigration bodies.
Complete immigration forms for assigned cases using required software and ensure all necessary documentation is attached in the correct order.
Follow up on cases to obtain missing documentation, such as employment and education records, and to confirm receipt of notices from immigration authorities.
Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential case files in both electronic and hard copy formats.
Manage a caseload of immigration applications to ensure efficient and effective processing.
Conduct interviews with clients to gather essential information and details.
Utilize knowledge of Canadian immigration law to accurately fill out forms and prepare necessary immigration documents.
Perform legal research to assist the consultant with case preparations.
Draft legal submissions for review by supervising consultant.
Open new client files and perform necessary data entry.
Respond promptly to client phone calls and emails to provide updates and gather additional information.

What You Bring

Proven organizational and analytical abilities with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and the capacity to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe, and various communication platforms.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Work Hours

Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Full-time, permanent position

Compensation and Benefits

$17.40-$19.00 per hour, based on experience and skills
On-site parking available
