About the Role

Infinite Outsourcing Solutions Inc. is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Sortation Supervisor (Night Shift) for our client to oversee parcel sortation and inbound transportation operations within a fast-paced logistics and distribution environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading night shift operations, coordinating transportation schedules, supervising warehouse personnel, and ensuring productivity, quality, and safety standards are consistently achieved. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a high-volume logistics environment and is passionate about operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the night shift sortation department.
Lead, coach, and motivate warehouse associates and vendor teams to achieve daily productivity goals.
Coordinate inbound transportation schedules and ensure timely arrival of freight.
Plan staffing requirements and prepare shift schedules based on operational volumes.
Monitor workflow and allocate resources to maximize efficiency and service levels.
Ensure compliance with all workplace health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce company standards and best practices.
Provide training, coaching, and onboarding support for new team members.
Monitor operational KPIs and implement corrective actions when required.
Prepare and submit daily operational and end-of-shift reports.
Collaborate with management on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
Address operational challenges proactively and support problem resolution in real time.
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and performance-driven work environment.

QualificationsRequired

College diploma, university degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in logistics, warehousing, transportation, parcel sortation, distribution, or supply chain operations.
Proven experience leading teams within a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and hold teams accountable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational, planning, and time-management abilities.
Experience using warehouse systems, reporting tools, Microsoft Office, and operational technology.
Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions under pressure.

Preferred

Experience in parcel delivery, e-commerce fulfillment, courier operations, or sortation facilities.
Knowledge of Lean, Continuous Improvement, or operational efficiency programs.
Experience managing vendor or temporary workforce teams.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs when required.
Comfortable working in a warehouse and distribution environment.
Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle, as local travel may occasionally be required.
