Please note, this is a seasonal-based position in our Soil Salinity laboratory with an anticipated end date of November 30th 2026. This role will require evening and weekend availability.
What you will be doing:

Perform basic laboratory procedures including preparation of samples, reagents and calibration solutions

Provide general lab support including washing glassware, cleaning work stations and waste disposal

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to completing all necessary tasks with careful attention to detail.

Calibrate, operate, maintain and troubleshoot instruments
-
Compile, verify and validate accurate data records
-
Meet quality assurance and turn around specifications
-
Follow all Quality Control and Standard Operating Procedures
- Report results

Other duties as assigned
What you bring to the table:-
1+ years laboratory experience considered an asset
-
Intermediate computer skills required
-
Previous experience showing the importance of meeting all documentation and and procedural standards.

Ability to work in a diligent manner in a pressured environment

Hand-eye coordination and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and in a team

Problem solving, communication, organization, and time management
