Sunoco LP is a leading energy infrastructure and fuel distribution master limited partnership operating across 32 countries and territories in North America, the Greater Caribbean, and Europe. The Partnership’s midstream operations include an extensive network of approximately 14,000 miles of pipeline and over 160 terminals. This critical infrastructure complements the Partnership’s fuel distribution operations, which distribute over 15 billion gallons annually to approximately 11,000 Sunoco and partner-branded retail locations, as well as independent dealers and commercial customers.

The Opportunity:

The Accounting Intern will support the Financial Reporting and Accounting teams by contributing to core accounting activities, data analysis, and reporting processes. This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment and exposure to key finance functions.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Financial Reporting and General Accounting teams with day-to-day activities.
Support month-end and quarter-end close processes.
Perform data analysis and reconcile financial information.
Prepare reports and assist with documentation as required.
Collaborate with team members on ongoing projects and process improvements.

Education:

Currently enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Students in 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of study preferred.

Requirements:

Available for a 4-month term beginning in September 2026
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is an asset
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated and capable of working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting
