As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Journeyman Mechanic or Mechanically Inclined Millwright to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:
We are looking for a dependable and experienced Journeyman Mechanic or Millwright to work in our fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on manufacturing machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure optimal performance and production efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and mechanical systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and make necessary repairs in a timely manner.
Install and assemble equipment and machinery according to blueprints and technical manuals.
Perform alignment, calibration, and adjustment of equipment.
Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and recommend improvements.
Work with production teams to minimize downtime and improve overall equipment reliability.
Adhere to all safety and company policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.

Qualifications:

Journeyman Mechanic Certification or equivalent experience in a mechanical trade (Millwright, etc.) or 3rd or 4th year Appentice.
Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with industrial machinery and systems.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Proficient in the use of tools, equipment, and machinery required for the job.
Experience with welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems is an asset.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding environments.
Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial settings preferred.
