Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan | Foran (TSX:ELD) is seeking a Mechanical Reliability Engineer to join our growing McIlvenna Bay team. This is a full-time position based at the McIlvenna Bay site working a 14/14 rotation.

The Mechanical Reliability Engineer reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and is responsible for providing project engineering support to site operations, projects, and other business units. This role also strives to improve equipment reliability, optimize maintenance strategies, and reduce downtime across mobile and fixed assets. You will be focused on the execution and technical support of non-routine maintenance projects. This role supports multiple, concurrent efforts in various stages of execution, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with corporate objectives.
Job Responsibilities:

Demonstrating Exceptional Technical Leadership Skills by guiding maintenance strategies and supporting data-driven decision-making.

Lead Root Cause Failure Analyses (RCFA) for major component and equipment failures and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Optimize Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Programs to improve equipment reliability and reduce unscheduled downtime.

Review oil analysis, inspections, and condition monitoring data to detect emerging issues.

Develop reports and presentations that communicate findings and recommendations to both site teams and customers.

Lead engineering scope, schedule, and budget to support successful project delivery.

Serve as the technical lead and primary point of contact during design, construction, and commissioning.

Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and resources across internal groups and external consultants.

Facilitate and lead design reviews to ensure alignment, constructability, and quality of deliverables.

Prepare and oversee scope of work documentation, tender packages, and capital cost estimates.

Support procurement activities including bid evaluations and post-award technical guidance.

Ensure all technical work meets Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan | Foran standards, regulatory requirements, and quality expectations.

Monitor project progress and provide regular updates on engineering activities and deliverables.

Troubleshoot technical challenges and implement practical, results-driven solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

Collaborate with site teams and stakeholders to align project objectives and support field execution.
Job Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Saskatchewan or eligibility to obtain registration is considered an asset.

5+ years of experience in mining, heavy equipment maintenance, or industrial reliability.

Strong understanding of reliability engineering principles, root cause failure analysis, and condition monitoring techniques.

Experience working directly in plant environments with trades and operations team (“boots-on-the-ground” approach).

Outstanding organizational, attention to detail and problem-solving skills Communication, leadership, and mentorship skills

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Proficiency in maintenance software (CMMS) and computer applications.
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $130,000 - $140,000/year based on experience and qualifications. Annual discretionary short term incentive award at a percentage of base salary, rewarding exceptional contributions to team and company success.
