The Recruiter is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle across a high-volume, fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on skilled trades roles. This position partners closely with hiring managers and HR colleagues to deliver timely, high-quality hiring solutions aligned with business needs. This role is based out of our Burlington office.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle for unionized and non-unionized roles, with an emphasis on skilled trades and high-volume hiring
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, role requirements, and recruitment strategies
- Develop and post job ads, source candidates through multiple channels, and build talent pipelines
- Screen and interview candidates, assess qualifications, and coordinate interviews with hiring teams
- Provide an excellent candidate experience through clear, timely, and professional communication
- Advise hiring managers on market conditions, compensation expectations, and recruitment best practices
- Manage offers, reference checks, and pre-employment requirements
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and reporting within the applicant tracking system
- Support recruitment-related projects and process improvements as needed
- 3–5 years of end-to-end recruitment experience, preferably in high-volume and/or skilled trades environments
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and employment standards
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Experience recruiting in construction, HVAC, industrial, or trades-based industries is a strong asset
