Project Coordinator (Manufacturing)
Location: Concord, Vaughan area
Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (Hybrid, flexible hours available)
Pay: $55,000 – $70,000 annually

About the Role
The Project Coordinator provides project and administrative support for cross-functional initiatives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role works closely with project managers, suppliers, and internal departments to coordinate schedules, track project progress, maintain documentation, and support day-to-day project execution.
The successful candidate will play a key role in keeping projects organized and on schedule by facilitating communication, following up on action items, preparing reports, and supporting coordination across multiple teams. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project schedules, timelines, and deliverables to support successful project execution
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between internal departments, suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Track project progress, action items, risks, and open issues, and support timely follow-up and resolution
- Maintain project documentation and reporting, including meeting minutes, status updates, KPI tracking, and project records
- Coordinate meetings, prepare project updates, and support follow-up activities to help keep projects on schedule
- Assist with prototype builds, supplier coordination, and other project-related activities within a manufacturing environment
- Support procurement activities and tracking of materials, parts, tooling, and deliveries
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Business, Project Management, Operations, or a related field
- 2–5 years of project coordination or related experience in manufacturing, industrial, or automotive environments
- Experience supporting project schedules, documentation, reporting, and cross-functional coordination
- Familiarity with automotive manufacturing processes is considered an asset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or Smartsheet
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow up on action items in a fast-paced environment
- Japanese language skills are considered an asset
- Must have own vehicle and a valid Ontario G driver’s license
