Role Overview
As a Content Writer with PMG, you will write and edit long-form thought leadership, case studies, white papers, proposals, and content for our website and blog. You will translate complex consulting concepts and client success stories into rigorous, accessible narratives; collaborate with consultants and subject matter experts to develop authoritative articles and industry insights; and create supporting content for email campaigns, social media, and LinkedIn. You will maintain consistency with PMG's brand voice and style guidelines, conduct research to ground arguments in evidence and identify relevant topics, optimize content for SEO to increase organic reach, and manage the content calendar in coordination with the marketing team. This role is ideal for a skilled writer who enjoys making complex business topics clear, compelling, and impactful.
A note on our voice: PMG has a very strong, very deliberate house style. We do not write "10 ways to improve your leadership" listicles; we publish informed, serious, research-backed essays. Given the nature of this work, our content writers generally receive topics and points of view from our executives, senior consultants, and regional managing directors, and work in collaboration with our research analysts to refine that point of view into a published position. Our expected publication cadence is approximately one article every 2–4 weeks. This public writing is done alongside our case studies.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field
What You'll Do
- Write and edit compelling content for PMG's website, blog, case studies, white papers, proposals, and thought leadership pieces
- Translate complex consulting concepts and client success stories into accessible, engaging narratives
- Collaborate with consultants and subject matter experts to develop authoritative articles and industry insights
- Create content for email campaigns, social media, and LinkedIn posts
- Maintain consistency with PMG's brand voice and style guidelines.
- Optimize content for SEO to increase organic reach
- Manage content calendar and coordinate with marketing team on publication schedules.
Requirements & Experience
- 3–5 years of professional content writing experience, ideally in B2B, consulting, or professional services
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- Ability to distil technical or complex topics into clear, reader-friendly content
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and content management systems (WordPress, Webflow, etc.)
- Strong research skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
- Portfolio of published work required.
