Clinical Care Coordinator | Long-Term Care | Kelowna, BC

$49.20- $55.48/hour | Full-Time | Days

You support teams, coordinate care and improve lives. The Opportunity

Mission Creek Landing is one of Kelowna's most established long-term care communities, nestled in a park-like setting beside Mission Creek Regional Park. For over 45 years, we've provided a safe, dignified home for seniors who can no longer live independently.

Now, we're entering our biggest chapter yet. We're expanding from 132 to 242 beds in Summer 2026 with new state-of-the-art equipment, and we're looking for a Clinical Care Coordinator who wants to grow with us.

This is more than a staffing call. It's a chance to help shape the culture, the care standards, and the team of a brand-new wing within a trusted community.

What Your Days Will Look Like

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Support and mentor nursing and care staff in clinical practices
Support regulatory compliance, audits, and quality improvement initiatives
Monitor and evaluate care plans, ensuring they reflect residents’ changing needs
Assist staff with education, orientation, and ongoing training
Participate in admissions, discharges, and care conferences
Act as a resource for clinical decision-making and problem solving
Promote infection prevention and control practices
Investigate and follow up on incidents, concerns and clinical risks

What You Bring

Registered (RN) designation and is good standing with BCCNM
Experience in Long term Care setting
Valid First Aide Certification
Strong clinical knowledge and leadership skills
Successful Criminal Record Check (vulnerable sector)
Understanding of care planning, assessments, and regulatory standards
Ability to mentor, coach, and support staff
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
Commitment to person-centered care and continuous improvement
