Duties and Responsibilities:

Drillers are responsible to safely operate specialized surface mechanical or electronic equipment, tools or instruments to provide services in conjunction with specific drilling projects. Some of the specific task will include but are not limited to the following:

Direct rig crew in setting up rigs, perform drilling operations, completing or servicing
Responsible for ensuring daily pre-shift inspections are completed for all the equipment under their direction
Ensure daily toolbox/safety meetings are conducted and documented
Operate controls of drilling rig and/or support equipment
Train workers under their direction in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
Document and record status of drilling operations
Assemble and attach equipment, tools or recorders to drill stem or wireline to conduct required procedures and tests

Qualifications and Requirements :

Surface Common Core is required
Valid First Aid Training
Minimum of 5 years experience as a Driller on surface core drill rigs
Flexible on rotation and location

Fonctions et responsabilités:

Les foreurs sont chargés d'utiliser en toute sécurité des équipements, outils ou instruments mécaniques ou électroniques spécialisés afin de fournir des services dans le cadre de projets de forage spécifiques. Certaines des tâches spécifiques comprennent, sans s'y limiter, les suivantes:

Diriger l'équipe de forage dans l'installation des appareils de forage, effectuer les opérations de forage, achever ou entretenir les travaux.
Veiller à ce que les inspections quotidiennes avant le début du quart de travail soient effectuées pour tous les équipements sous leur responsabilité.
Veiller à ce que les réunions quotidiennes sur la sécurité et les outils soient organisées et consignées.
Utiliser les commandes de l'appareil de forage et/ou des équipements de soutien.
Former les travailleurs sous leur responsabilité aux tâches, aux procédures de sécurité et aux politiques de l'entreprise.
Consigner et enregistrer l'état des opérations de forage.
Assembler et fixer l'équipement, les outils ou les enregistreurs à la tige de forage ou au câble afin d'effectuer les procédures et les tests requis.

Qualifications et exigences:

Une formation de base en forage de surface est requise.
Formation valide en secourisme/premier soins.
Au moins 5 ans d'expérience en tant que foreur sur des appareils de forage de surface.
Au moins 1 an d’expérience en tant que aide foreur de surface.
Flexibilité en matière de rotation et de lieu de travail.
Foraco offre une rémunération compétitive ainsi qu'un régime d'assurance maladie.
