Position Summary
Premier, operating under the Pilot & Co group, is seeking a highly structured and detail-oriented Operations Planning Coordinator to support our manufacturing operations.
This role is critical to ensuring the integrity of planning and costing data within our ERP system (Odoo) while enabling efficient production flow. The successful candidate will play a key role in aligning demand, production, and supply by maintaining accurate master data and driving disciplined planning processes.
This is a central operational role that directly impacts lead times, on-time delivery, and overall manufacturing performance.
Key Responsibilities
Planning & Scheduling
- Create and manage work orders based on demand and production capacity
- Develop and maintain production schedules (make vs. buy decisions)
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and sales to align priorities
- Monitor and adjust schedules to address changes in demand or constraints
Master Data & System Integrity (Odoo)
- Own and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routing accuracy
- Ensure data integrity across planning, costing, and execution workflows
- Validate and maintain lead times, labor standards, and machine routing data
- Act as Odoo super user for planning and costing functions
Costing & Operational Accuracy
- Support accurate product costing through validated system data
- Identify discrepancies between planned vs. actual performance
- Work closely with operations to continuously improve data reliability
Operational Support & Continuous Improvement
- Eliminate bottlenecks in planning and reduce dependency on key individuals
- Improve on-time delivery performance and production efficiency
- Support implementation of best practices in manufacturing planning
- Contribute to process improvements as the company scales
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in manufacturing planning, scheduling, or production coordination
- Strong understanding of ERP systems (Odoo experience is an asset)
- Knowledge of machining or manufacturing environments preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
