Field Supervisor – Bonnyville, AB
Kinetic Safety is seeking an experienced and hands-on full time Field Supervisor to support our growing operations in Bonnyville and the surrounding region. The successful candidate must live in Bonnyville AB or within daily commuting distance.
This is a leadership role for someone who enjoys being in the field, supporting employees, building client relationships, and helping drive operational excellence across the organization. The successful candidate will serve as a visible leadership presence for our field teams, ensuring projects are executed safely, professionally, and efficiently.
We are looking for someone who leads by example, builds credibility with crews, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves when needed.
Responsibilities
Field Leadership & Employee Development
- Provide day-to-day leadership, mentorship, and support to field employees.
- Be present onsite for all jobs, guiding staff and troubleshooting issues in real-time.
- Reinforce company expectations related to safety, professionalism, attendance, and client service.
- Coach employees and identify opportunities for growth and development.
- Support onboarding and training of new field personnel.
Operational Support
- Work closely with dispatch and leadership to support successful job execution.
- Assist with job mobilization, staffing, and resource planning.
- Monitor field performance and identify operational improvement opportunities.
- Troubleshoot field challenges and provide solutions in real time.
- Perform field work as needed when field employees are unavailable.
Safety Leadership
- Promote and uphold Kinetic Safety's safety culture and standards.
- Participate in field inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
- Ensure work is completed in compliance with client requirements and regulatory expectations.
- Lead by example in all aspects of safety performance.
Client Relationships
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with client representatives.
- Serve as a field-level point of contact during project execution.
- Support the delivery of exceptional client service and responsiveness.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen existing client relationships.
Qualifications
Technical Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in industrial safety services, including with safety watch, confined space monitoring, atmospheric testing, breathing air trailers/systems, rescue services, and related industrial safety services.
- Must hold H2S Alive, Standard First Aid/CPR, CSO, Confined Space Entry & Monitor, and Confined Space Rescue tickets.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
Leadership Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of experience leading / supervising field personnel.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to earn the trust and respect of both employees and clients.
- Proven ability to hold employees accountable while maintaining positive and productive working relationships.
- Ability to provide constructive feedback, have difficult conversations, address performance concerns, and support employee development.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams to consistently deliver high-quality service and exceed client expectations.
- Take ownership of the overall success of field operations, ensuring work is completed safely, professionally, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Ability to identify performance gaps, coach employees effectively, and elevate the performance of the team as a whole.
- Lead by example through professionalism, work ethic, attitude, and commitment to safety.
- Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and resolve operational issues in real time.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, accountability, and personal ownership.
