What You’ll Own
As the Body Shop Manager, you will take full ownership of the operation, leading both the business and the people behind it:
- Drive financial performance by developing budgets, analyzing results, and implementing profit-focused strategies
- Lead daily operations including scheduling, workflow optimization, and resource planning
- Build and develop a high-performing team by hiring, mentoring, and supporting staff
- Monitor technician productivity, efficiency, and quality to ensure top-tier workmanship
- Oversee estimates, invoicing, and insurance claims with accuracy and accountability
- Strengthen relationships with customers, suppliers, and insurance partners
- Identify growth opportunities, improve processes, and increase overall shop performance
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements
- Provide clear communication and reporting to senior leadership
What You Bring
- Red Seal Certification as a Body Shop Technician
- 7+ years of experience in the heavy-duty truck body shop industry
- Proven success leading teams in a body shop or service environment
- Strong business acumen with the ability to drive profitability and efficiency
- Customer-focused mindset with strong relationship-building skills
- Solid understanding of estimating, repair processes, and insurance workflows
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and dealership management systems
