Short-Term Rental Turnover Cleaner (Contractor) — St. John’s, NL

We’re hiring a reliable, detail-oriented cleaner to complete turnovers for our short-term rental homes in St. John’s. This is a contractor role for someone who takes pride in hotel-level cleanliness, works efficiently on a schedule, and follows a checklist every time. We run a structured operation with clear standards, strong communication, and consistent work for top performers.

What you’ll do

Complete full turnover cleans between guest stays (bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, living areas)
Reset the home to guest-ready standards: beds made, linens staged, surfaces sanitized, floors spotless
Restock essentials (provided) and ensure the home is organized and presentation-ready
Handle laundry/linen turnover as assigned (we provide linens and supplies)
Report damages, missing items, and maintenance issues promptly
Follow our cleaning checklist and quality standards to ensure consistency

What we’re looking for

Cleaning experience (STR, hotel, or residential preferred)
Strong attention to detail and high personal standards
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Good communication and a professional, guest-focused mindset
Comfortable with physical work (stairs, lifting, standing)
Reliable transportation to travel to properties in/around St. John’s

Quality & process

Paid trial clean required (to confirm fit and standards)
Quality checks are part of our process—consistency matters

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
