Responsible for supporting multiple operational areas, including Automation, Cart Assembly, and Shipping & Receiving. Collaborate with the Automation Lead to repair and maintain select machines. Build medication carts to established standards, ensuring accuracy and quality. Provide backup for the correct shipping of all outgoing orders and the proper receiving of incoming products for Manrex Limited. Additional responsibilities include packaging products and maintaining a clean, organized
warehouse environment.
This team member must be organized and have a great attention to detail in order to succeed in this position. Must be a results-oriented problem solver, dedicated to producing results that are desired by both the customer and Manrex.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. AUTOMATION
- Complete installations, upgrades, repairs on selected automated equipment (on-site at customer locations)
- Troubleshoot equipment with customers and provide direction on possible resolutions
- Track all customer interactions on Service Report spreadsheet and assist in the generation of all necessary reports and tracking systems
- Assist with product trial evaluations and/or trade shows
- Provide feedback from customers on enhancing our machines and new product ideas
2. CARTS
· Creation and processing of work orders related to carts and cart accessories
· Assembling all carts in-house from start to finish according to the ISO procedures
· Service calls in the field (mainly the Winnipeg area) as required
· Ensureall tools are properly cared for and put away upon completion of maintenance or repair
· Ensure Cart parts are properly inventoried, labelled, and stored in the correct location
· Assist in the return of defective or non-conforming medication cart materials vendors
3. SHIPPING
· Pick, pack and ship all orders as per shipping procedures set by Manrex Limited
· Preparing freight quotes for incoming and outgoing products
· Prepare kits in appropriate quantities for inventory and eventual shipping
· Act as backup for handling all international orders in accordance with the set parameters from the Shipping Supervisor & Operations Manager
· Complete regularly scheduled cycle counts of Manrex stock and assist with investigation into any discrepancies
· Item journal quantity adjustments and warehouse transfers as required
4. RECEIVING:
· Act as backup Receiving incoming stock, returns, etc. as needed. This includes
o Inspections of all receiving’s following all ISO related instructions using available Spec Sheets.
o Documenting any discrepancies or damage at the time of receipt with the freight company.
o Scan documents to appropriate spreadsheet trackers.
o When receiving returns, inspect and match to appropriate RMA.
o Ensure that products which require re-kitting, change of packaging, labels, etc. are done properly and returned to proper stock location for resale.
o Receive RMA in Business Central and advise Customer Service accordingly
· Assist with receiving Powdercrush returned for repairs. Document items received and provide to CS rep managing repair program. Pack and arrange shipment to local vendor once RMA is received
· Test new products as required
· Notify ISO Quality Coordinator to initiate NCR’s for all non-conforming products at the time of receiving (QSP1040)
· Create initial spec sheets and procedures for new items in conjunction with Operations Manager depending on the product
5. General/Other Duties as Required
· Responsible to ensure Warehouse and Operations office areas are kept organized and clear at all times, including but not limited to cleaning, dusting, mopping, sweeping, garbage pick-up, clean debris from outside loading dock area, etc. Clean exterior loading dock and sidewalks in the summer & winter, ensuring they are clear, sanded and safe
· Ensures all equipment used in the warehouse is in safe, operating condition. This includes daily forklift and walkie checks
· Utilize, to its full extent the Business Central and related software ensuring the information in the system is accurate, maintained and current
· Perform other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
· High School Education Completion required
· MUST BE COMPUTER LITERATE. Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail working with Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook
· Technical Acumen, Electro-mechanical, robotics experience and aptitude, with pneumatic knowledge would be an asset
· Must have valid driving license
· Must have a valid passport (or the ability to qualify for one quickly) and have the ability to travel within Canada, the USA and Europe
· Capable of learning to work with a CRM system and to operate within an ISO Certified business with strict quality standards and procedures
· Good command of the English language in both spoken and written form
· Organized and goal driven, with passion for excellence
· Excellent ability to accurately count and track product numbers and production lots
· Capable of working within a team environment in a cooperative and coordinated manner
· Able to lift at least 50lbs. with ease
