Freudenberg Flow Technologies Inc.
This position will be primarily responsible for Setup and the Operation of a CNC Lathe machine. Duties will include reviewing CNC programs, setup of CNC equipment, Editing CNC programs (G Code), Inspection of product and Operating Equipment to ensure quality of Product. Also need to ensure, sourcing of tools and Inserts selection, etc.
Have the ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings, including GD&T. Be able to use Inspection Equipment, including PI Tape, Micrometers, Calipers, Optical Comparators, Angle Gages, Thread Gages, and Height Gages etc. A thorough knowledge of machining elastomer and thermoplastics is a plus.
- Operate CNC Lathe with various shop tools equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Receiving work order from Planning team, to review the WO, drawings, special processes involved, prepare the tools and insert, cycle time checking and prepare the machining program.
- To perform self-inspection, Quality Inspection the FA, parts and ensure meeting specification.
- Daily safety checks of machines
- Submit purchase requisitions for required tools and inserts etc.
- To perform weekly maintenance on production CNC machines
- Follow up and coordinate with production supervisor and planning until parts are completed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- 5+ years’ experience machining/fabricating
- Familiar with quality standards
- Resourceful, organized, and efficient
- Be able to lift up to 35 Ibs. repetitively
- Intermediate shop math skills
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Special attention to safety procedures
- Elastomer machining a plus
- Plastic machining a plus
- Formal CNC certification
- CAD/CAM experience
- Experience working with SAP Goods & Services and Outbound Deliveries
