Full job description

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic person to join our team as the Front Desk Administrator at our CPA firm. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of the office. The selected candidate will be working closely with all other accounting staff by providing support in various forms. They will also be responsible for day-to-day office duties, ensuring the office is presentable and organized. The Candidate should be an organized and friendly face, who is able to greet and engage with clients with ease.

Duties:

· Providing excellent customer service to clients and walk-ins.

· Understand client and walk-in needs and referring them to the appropriate person.

· Managing phones and voicemails.

· Learning accounting software (Quickbooks, TPS, Sage, etc.).

· Perform opening and closing duties.

· Complete routine correspondence (answering emails, entering data, ect.).

· Document control & organization.

· Filing system continual organization and upkeep.

· Processing paperwork.

· Creating and sending invoices to clients.

· Managing schedules and appointments for staff.

· Providing administrative support as needed.

· Monitoring office inventory.

· Receiving and distribution of mail.

· Managing client payments and collections.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

· Competence in Microsoft office suite and other standard desktop programs.

· Ability to use standard office equipment (fax, photocopier, etc.).

· Excellent time management skills.

· Excellent communication skills with both clients and other staff.

· Friendly to customers.

· Ability to meet tight deadlines.

· Ability to multitask effectively.

· At least high school diploma or GED, preferably college diploma in administration.

· At least 5 years of experience in a similar position.

Pay: $40,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
