The Collective is hiring a Weddings & Events Manager to run:
- Rocky Mountain Wedding & Events
- Rocky Mountain Elopements
This is not a coordinator role. This is not just a senior planner role.
This is a divisional leadership position. You will run the Weddings & Events division.

What You’ll Own Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and manage full-time and associate planners
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, and performance
- Build structure, accountability, and culture within the division
- Develop future leaders
Revenue & Growth
- Drive divisional booking targets and profitability
- Influence pricing strategy and packaging
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing on conversion and cross-selling
- Identify growth opportunities within The Collective ecosystem
- Track KPIs and performance metrics
Operations & Standards
- Oversee planning systems, workflows, and documentation
- Maintain high standard of communication and service standards
- Handle escalated client situations
- Protect and elevate brand integrity
You will have a voice in strategy and growth.
Required Experience
- 5+ years in wedding or event planning
- 2–3+ years in leadership or team management
- Experience overseeing multiple events simultaneously
- Strong operational and systems mindset
- Comfort with revenue accountability
Highly Valued:
- Experience planning in Banff, Canmore, or the Bow Valley
- Strong local vendor relationships
- Familiarity with mountain venue logistics and Parks regulations
Compensation & Long-Term Opportunity
- Base Salary: Starting at $70,000
