Full job description

For over 30 years, CIC Inc. has been working in the Construction sector within Winnipeg and the surrounding area. As a General Contractor, we have worked on numerous construction projects including commercial, agricultural and industrial. CIC is a COR Certified business. We are seeking a full time skilled, experienced Project Manager Assistant in Winnipeg.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

POSITION TITLE: Project Coordinator

REPORTS TO: President/Project Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:

Incumbent coordinates with the Project Team to maintain a smooth administrative flow for tenders and projects. Ensures communication flows between project manager, CIC administrative support staff, trades, suppliers, clients and other project stakeholders as directed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assemble and distribute project tenders through defined process to assist Project Team.

2. Prepare necessary project contracts as required.

3. Prepare and distribute contracts to sub-trades in Procore/Filemaker/other.

4. Assist in collecting; shop drawings, samples to send to the consultants for review and approval, and/or other items for review.

5. Prepare project construction schedule for project managers using Fast Track.

6. Distribution & coordination of contract documents to trades.

7. Issue purchase orders and delivery orders for the project job site.

8. Prepare Progress Summary for the Project Manager as requested.

9. Attend site meetings to take minutes.

10. Follow up and obtain post project documentation required to close out projects.

11. Other duties similar in nature as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with computer skills included Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word)
Strong interpersonal & communication skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels of the organization professionally.
Well organized and ability to multi-task when required.

HOURS OF WORK:

Monday to Friday 7:30 am. to 4:00 pm.
