The Rugby Shop is one of North America's leading rugby retailers and teamwear providers, supplying clubs, universities, schools, academies, provincial organizations, and rugby communities across Canada and the United States.
As we continue our rapid growth, we are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead business development, expand key accounts, drive teamwear sales, and launch our exciting new custom apparel brand, KIT Sports Wear, across North America.

The Opportunity
Reporting directly to ownership, the Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a North American growth strategy across Canada and the United States.
You will build relationships with rugby clubs, universities, schools, leagues, tournament organizers, and sporting organizations while expanding existing accounts and generating new business opportunities.
A major focus of the role will be promoting and growing KIT Sports Wear, our proprietary custom apparel platform that allows customers to fully design and customize products with industry-leading delivery times.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan across Canada and the United States.
- Grow existing customer relationships while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
- Prospect and develop relationships with:
- Rugby clubs
- Universities and colleges
- High schools and academies
- Provincial and state rugby organizations
- Tournament and festival organizers
- Build long-term teamwear and merchandise partnerships.
- Negotiate and close multi-season apparel agreements.
Regional Territory Management
- Manage and grow a large North American territory.
- Identify underserved markets and expansion opportunities.
- Develop regional sales pipelines and account growth strategies.
- Regular travel throughout Canada and the United States.
KIT Sports Wear Launch
- Lead the North American rollout of KIT Sports Wear.
- Educate customers on customization capabilities and rapid production timelines.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations.
- Drive adoption of the brand through direct sales, events, and strategic partnerships.
Events & Industry Presence
- Represent The Rugby Shop at rugby festivals, tournaments, championships, and trade events.
- Build brand visibility and generate new business opportunities.
- Develop sponsorship and partnership opportunities throughout the rugby community.
Dealer & Franchise Development
- Identify potential dealer and franchise partners.
- Support onboarding and territory development initiatives.
- Help establish scalable growth strategies throughout North America.
What We're Looking For
Required Experience
- 5+ years of regional sales, territory management, or business development experience.
- Proven success managing a large geographic territory.
- Experience selling into multiple customer segments and stakeholders.
- Strong track record of generating new business and growing existing accounts.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales pipeline management.
Preferred Experience
- Sporting goods, apparel, teamwear, uniforms, promotional products, retail, or wholesale distribution experience.
- Experience managing sales across Canada and the United States.
- Rugby knowledge or involvement within the sporting community is highly desirable.
- Experience building dealer, distributor, or franchise networks.

Pay: $75,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Kelowna, BC
