The Opportunity:
We’re looking to fill an open role for a Banking Administrator to join our Operations team for 12 months.
Reporting to the Manager, Operations the Banking Administrator is responsible for the daily processing of cash and stock transactions in Dataphile for Aviso Clients and Credit Unions.
There may be a requirement to work on a statutory holiday or weekend.

What your day looks like:

Processing cash & stock transactions such as EFTs, Bill Payments, FX transactions

Reconciling of cash outages of pending and suspense accounts for clients and banks
-
Generating client cheques into system for cheque processing
-
Internal transfers between client accounts
-
Processing of fees for client accounts
-
Wire transfer input
-
Ensure accuracy and meeting the industry SLAs
-
Follow the policy and procedures manual as set out by the Banking Services team and revise as needed
Other duties as assigned or needed

Requirements
Your experience and skills:
- Post-secondary education in business or commerce preferred
- 1+ year of experience in an office environment within the securities industry
- Intermediate knowledge in the MS suite of applications including Excel
- Experience with Dataphile preferred
- Ability to work independently to achieve required objectives
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service orientation
- Strong organizational, time management and administrative skills
- Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset

Salary
This position is posted with an expected salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 CAD annually. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate and the requirements of the position.
