K'yaa Therapy is a growing group psychotherapy practice serving clients across Ontario. As demand for trauma therapy continues to increase, we are seeking an EMDR-trained therapist to join our team and help expand our Oakville presence.
This is an excellent opportunity for a therapist who wants to focus on clinical work while we handle marketing, referrals, administration, and practice growth.
Position Details
Position: Independent Contractor
Location: Hybrid (Virtual + Oakville Office)
Specialization: EMDR & Trauma Therapy
Caseload Goal: 15–25 clients per week
Start Date: Flexible

Administrative Support
- Client inquiries and intake coordination
- Scheduling support
- Secure EMR platform

Clinical Autonomy
- Set your own schedule
- Choose virtual, in-person, or hybrid availability
- Maintain full clinical independence
- Optional peer consultation and case discussions
Growth Opportunities
We are actively expanding trauma-focused services within the GTA and are looking for clinicians interested in growing alongside the practice.
QualificationsRequired
- Registered Psychotherapist (RP) or Registered Social Worker (RSW)
- In good standing with CRPO or OCSWSSW
- Professional liability insurance
- EMDR Basic Training completed
- Experience working with trauma-related concerns
- Comfortable providing virtual therapy
Preferred
- EMDR Certification or working toward certification
- Advanced EMDR training
- Somatic Therapy training
- Parts Work / IFS training
- Attachment-focused approaches
- Experience with complex trauma populations
