We develop, install, and manage Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage (BESS), and EV Charging solutions. As we continue to grow our commercial project portfolio, we are hiring two Project Coordinators to manage projects across the full lifecycle — from contract signing through to energization and handover.
About the Roles
We are hiring two Commercial Project Coordinators to cover complementary phases of the project lifecycle:
Role 1 — RTI Phase Coordinator (Ready-to-Install)
Manages newly signed commercial projects from contract execution through pre-construction readiness. Responsibilities include customer onboarding, rebate applications, site assessment coordination, utility interconnection submissions, and municipal permit applications.
Role 2 — PTO Phase Coordinator (Permission-to-Operate)
Manages projects from RTI handoff through construction, commissioning, and final utility energization. Responsibilities include procurement coordination, installer and subcontractor scheduling, inspection management, commissioning activities, and project closeout.
Candidates will be considered for the role that best matches their background. Both positions are hybrid based in Toronto, ON.
Key Responsibilities
RTI Phase — Project Intake & Pre-Construction
Project Intake & Customer Communication
Receive and onboard newly signed commercial projects
Serve as the primary customer contact during the RTI phase
Provide project updates and coordinate required documentation
Rebate & Incentive Applications
Site Assessment Coordination
Utility & Permit Applications
Prepare and submit utility (LDC) interconnection applications
Prepare and submit municipal permit applications
Track approvals and coordinate responses to comments or requests
RTI Readiness
PTO Phase — Construction, Commissioning & Energization
Construction Coordination
Manage projects from RTI handoff through commissioning
Coordinate installation schedules with customers and subcontractors
Monitor project progress, timelines, and key milestones
Support issue resolution during construction
Procurement & Equipment Delivery
Coordinate equipment procurement and delivery schedules
Track material availability and shipment status
Ensure required equipment is delivered before construction activities
Installer & Contractor Coordination
Work closely with electrical contractors, installers, and commissioning teams
Schedule construction activities and site access
Coordinate change orders and field-related project updates
Inspection & Utility Coordination
Schedule electrical inspections and AHJ reviews
Coordinate utility witness testing and final approval requirements
Track deficiencies and ensure corrective actions are completed
Commissioning & PTO Management
Coordinate system commissioning activities
Track commissioning documentation and closeout requirements
Obtain final utility approval and Permission to Operate (PTO)
Ensure all project records are completed and archived
Project Closeout & Handover
Complete project closeout documentation
Transfer monitoring, warranty, and operational information to the Asset Management Team
Support customer onboarding to monitoring platforms
Qualifications
Required (RTI Role)
1+ years of project coordination, administration, or customer service experience
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience in solar, construction, utilities, engineering, or renewable energy is an asset
Required (PTO Role)
2+ years of project coordination, construction coordination, or project management experience
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience working with contractors and project schedules
Preferred (Both Roles)
Solar PV, BESS, EV Charging, electrical construction, utility, or renewable energy experience
Familiarity with ESA, Hydro utilities, commissioning, and construction processes
Experience with project management software (Zoho Projects, ClickUp, Monday.com, or similar)
Compensation & Benefits
Salary (RTI)
$40,000 – $50,000 CAD
Salary (PTO)
$40,000 – $55,000 CAD
