Verellen Music Academy
Overview
Verellen Music Academy is seeking passionate, dedicated, and experienced Music Teachers to join our growing team. We are looking for instructors in Voice, Piano, Guitar, Drums, and Violin who are committed to inspiring students and helping them develop their musical abilities in a positive and supportive environment.
This is a paid Independent Contractor position ideal for educators who are looking to build long-term relationships with their students and become a valued member of our academy community.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging music lessons tailored to each student's age, skill level, and goals.
- Teach private music lessons in Voice, Piano, Guitar, Drums, or Violin.
- Foster a positive, encouraging, and professional learning environment.
- Assess student progress regularly and adapt teaching methods as needed.
- Prepare students for recitals, performances, examinations, and personal musical goals.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and lesson planning.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student development.
- Utilize creative and engaging teaching techniques to inspire a lifelong love of music.
- Participate in academy events, recitals, and other activities as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience teaching or tutoring music.
- Strong proficiency in Voice, Piano, Guitar, Drums, or Violin.
- Experience working with children and youth is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage students of all ages and skill levels.
- Strong organizational skills and professionalism.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for music education.
- Ability to create lesson plans that meet individual student needs.
Availability Requirements
Lessons take place during the following hours:
- Weekdays: 3:30 PM – 9:00 PM
- Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Applicants must have availability during these teaching hours.
Important Position Information
- This position is an Independent Contractor role.
- A Vulnerable Sector Check is required before employment begins.
- We are seeking teachers who are interested in building a long-term career with Verellen Music Academy.
- Due to the importance of consistency for our students, applicants must be willing to commit to teaching with the academy for a minimum of two years.
