Finance, Fundraising, Research & Resource Development Coordinator
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid/Remote)
Organization: The Impact Ambassadors Initiative (TIA)
Reports To: Executive Director / Co-Founder
Compensation: $22 -$25/hour (Min. 20 hours per week)

The Impact Ambassadors Initiative (TIA) is a purpose-driven non-profit organization committed to developing leaders,
empowering communities, and creating lasting social impact through leadership, mentorship, community engagement,
and capacity-building programs.
Position Summary
The Finance, Fundraising, Research & Resource Development Officer will support TIA's financial management,
fundraising efforts, grant development, partnership building, research, and data reporting. Working closely with
leadership and finance volunteers, the successful candidate will help strengthen organizational sustainability,
accountability, and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Finance & Compliance
- Maintain accurate financial records and reports.
- Track income, expenses, cash flow, and budgets.
- Support payroll administration, CRA compliance, and financial accountability.
- Assist with year-end reporting and financial statements in collaboration with external accounting support when
required.
- Provide leadership and coordination to finance volunteers.
Fundraising & Resource Development
- Research grants, sponsorships, and funding opportunities.
- Prepare grant applications, proposals, and sponsorship packages.
- Build and maintain donor, sponsor, and funding pipelines.
- Support fundraising campaigns and donor engagement activities.
Partnerships, Research & Data Analytics
- Identify and support community, corporate, and funding partnerships.
- Conduct research on funding opportunities, sector trends, and community needs.
- Collect, analyze, and report organizational, fundraising, and program data.
- Prepare impact reports and support evidence-based decision-making.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Timely financial reporting and compliance.
- Number of funding opportunities identified and applications submitted.
- Funds secured through grants, sponsorships, and donations.
- Growth of donor, sponsor, and partnership pipelines.
- Accurate data tracking and organizational reporting.
Qualifications
- Background in finance, accounting, business administration, fundraising, non-profit management, research, data
analytics, or a related field.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience in bookkeeping, budgeting, grant writing, fundraising, payroll, or data reporting is an asset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Alignment with the mission, vision, and values of The Impact Ambassadors Initiative.
