About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented
Finance Officer (AP/AR) to join our Brisbane Head Office. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in managing accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
- Process and verify supplier invoices accurately and on time
- Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies
- Manage payment runs (EFT/BPAY/cheques)
Accounts Receivable
- Monitor incoming payments and maintain accurate records
- Manage invoicing and follow up on outstanding receivables
Reconciliations & Reporting
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve issues
- Assist with month-end processes and accruals
Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve queries
- Build strong working relationships across the business
Compliance & Improvement
- Ensure GST compliance and accurate financial records
- Support process improvements and system enhancements
ABOUT YOU
You are a detail‑focused finance professional with strong technical skills and a proactive approach. You bring:
- A bachelor's degree in business or accounting
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a finance or accounting role
- Strong proficiency with financial systems, Excel, and accounting software
- Excellent time management, organization, and problem‑solving skills
- High attention to detail and a commitment to financial accuracy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
