Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Administrator with bookkeeping expertise to join our team. This role is vital in maintaining accurate financial records, managing administrative tasks, and supporting the overall efficiency of our office operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in accounting software and financial management, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning and precise financial reporting.

Duties

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections
Perform account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations, to verify accuracy of financial data
Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
Assist with budgeting processes and financial planning activities
Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audit purposes
Support payroll processing and related reporting tasks
Manage administrative responsibilities including scheduling, correspondence, and filing
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Skills

Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential
Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices
Experience with payroll management and processing
Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation procedures
Ability to perform detailed account analysis and bank reconciliations accurately
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within the team
Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial reporting is a plus
