Become a key contributor on the Financial Systems & Products team, where your expertise in master data management drives accuracy, process excellence, and robust financial data governance.
As a Financial Analyst specializing in Master Data Management, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing critical financial hierarchies, including business, regional, and global structures. You’ll design and document standard operating procedures, develop streamlined intake forms with automation for hierarchy change requests, and collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure alignment with Local Design Authority guidelines. Your day will include capturing and tracking changes in Microsoft Access, implementing updates in SAP, running extracts from SAP Hana, and validating data integrity. You’ll lead master data improvement projects, archive all documentation for audit purposes, and prepare quarterly PowerPoint summaries for the Data Governance Council. In addition to hierarchy management, you’ll support the Senior Financial Analyst with business support activities—running reports, performing reconciliations, resolving MySupport tickets, and conducting statistical analysis to monitor SLA compliance. This role also offers opportunities to participate in broader team projects as needed. You will report to the Finance Manager.
The FS&P team is a collaborative group of data professionals dedicated to delivering accurate and timely insights across Deloitte. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll work closely with Financial Business Partners.
You are someone with these required skills:

Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new systems, adapt to evolving processes, and troubleshoot complex data issues

Proven track record of organizing, prioritizing, and delivering results on multiple projects under tight deadlines and high workload pressure

Experience designing user-friendly, automated intake forms and developing clear process documentation

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging stakeholders and providing expert guidance

High attention to detail, with experience in data validation, hierarchy clean-up, and maintaining thorough audit documentation

Proficiency in PowerPoint for preparing executive summaries and presenting to governance councils

Interest in data governance, process improvement, and collaborating in cross-functional teams
It would be great for you to have some of these nice to have’s as well:
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Access and advanced Excel analytics (an asset)

Bilingualism in French and English - written and verbal (Due to the nature of the role having interactions with National & Global clients, English is required for this position)
The salary range for this position is $47,000 - $78,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
