About Loyalty Markets
Loyalty Markets is a fast-growing, highly disruptive leader in workplace refreshment services, unattended micro-markets, and smart cooler solutions across Ontario. We out-execute national corporate giants by being nimble, tech-forward, and completely obsessed with operational discipline. We are bringing in fresh external talent to help scale our North York hub as we expand our footprint across the GTA.
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, high-velocity Warehouse Lead Hand to inject new operational energy, strict order accuracy, and rigorous execution into our logistics team.
This is a 100% hands-on, active on-the-floor role. There is zero "desk work" or office administrative down-time. You will be on your feet picking products, receiving freight, and executing inventory control alongside our warehouse associates every single day. Reporting directly to the Director of Internal Operations, you will serve as the eyes and ears of the floor, driving daily picking velocity, executing physical inventory counts, and ensuring absolute compliance with Ontario health and safety standards.
Daily Task Execution & Responsibilities
- Active Daily Picking & Receiving: Work directly on the floor every day. Pick beverage, snack, coffee, and grocery orders accurately for our routes, and physically load and unload delivery trucks.
- Supplier Receiving & Verification: Receive incoming supplier deliveries, physically check quantities against packing slips, inspect product quality, and immediately flag and record any inventory discrepancies.
- Date Coding & Rotation: Maintain strict food safety and inventory control by dating incoming products, organizing stock according to FIFO standards, and managing product rotation on the racking.
- Driver Returns & Missed Deliveries: Coordinate and process all returned inventory brought back by route drivers. Reconcile missed delivery items and restock them back into inventory perfectly to prevent losses.
- Inventory Counts: Lead and execute physical inventory cycle counts. Investigate stock errors immediately with root-cause discipline to protect company margins.
- Front-Line OHSA Safety Compliance: Serve as the floor safety champion. Enforce a strict zero-tolerance policy for unsafe warehouse acts (including racking climbing), ensure daily forklift safety logs are filled out perfectly, and maintain clear, un-obstructed emergency exits.
- Weekly Food Pickup Logistics: Drive a company cargo van to safely pick up and receive fresh food items from our production partners 10 minutes away.
Basic Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on warehouse experience, with a proven track record in a leadership, team lead, or coordinator role within a fast-paced logistics environment (food, beverage, or vending distribution highly preferred).
- Equipment: Valid Ontario Forklift Truck Certification (Counterbalance and Reach truck) with extensive operating experience.
- Licensing: Valid Ontario Driver’s License with a clean driving abstract (required for driving company cargo vans).
- Background Clearance: Must be able to pass a clean criminal record check prior to employment.
- Technology: Comfortable utilizing mobile technology, digital scanning tools, and electronic inventory systems daily.
- Physical Demands: Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs comfortably and remain standing/moving throughout an 8-hour shift.
- Character: An honest person of strong personal character, possess excellent attention to detail, a professional attitude, and a "do-whatever-it-takes" work ethic.
What We Offer
- A stable, competitive $50,000 base salary in a high-growth company that tracks and respects your operational hours.
- Dedicated Health Spending Account (HSA) and Wellness Program.
- On-site parking at our North York facility.
