Job Description: Drywall Finisher (For Residential Projects and Customized House)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by removing old drywall, plaster, or paint
- Install and repair drywall panels
- Apply joint compound and tape to seams and corners
- Smooth and level the surface using hand tools and sandpaper
- Apply texture or decorative finishes to the drywall as needed
- Clean up work area and dispose of debris properly
- Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings
- Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound
- Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weather proof surfaces
- Attach metal or gypsum lath to studs or furring
- Install corner beads and wire mesh around beams to which plaster is to be applied
- Install vapour barriers and thermal and sound insulation.

Requirements:
- Proven minimum 1 year experience as a drywall finisher with core skill in Taping & Mudding.
- Proficient in Taping - Ideal candidate knows ins and outs of creating smooth and seamless finishes, ensuring top notch quality on every project.
- Comfortable in Stilt work-Confidently navigate elevated surfaces while maintaining precision and efficiency.
- Strong knowledge of different types of drywall materials and finishes with mudding skills to achieve a polished, professional appearance is a key aspect of this role.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Versatility - Familiarity with various drywall techniques and requirements is a plus. Whether its installing drywall, repairing damaged surfaces or finishing touches, we value versatility in our team members.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
