We provide packing, moving, unpacking, organizing, estate sales and clear-out services, always with respect, care, and professionalism.
Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Project Manager to lead and coordinate downsizing and moving projects for seniors.
This is a hands-on role. The Project Manager works alongside the team on client sites, assisting with physical downsizing and moving tasks while helping guide the team to ensure projects run smoothly and efficiently.
This position is approximately:
- 75% hands-on downsizing and moving work
- 25% on-site leadership, coordination, and client communication
As a key representative of our company, the Project Manager plays an important role in ensuring smooth operations while providing compassionate and professional support to seniors and their families during times of transition.
What You’ll Be Doing
On-Site Leadership & Coordination
- Act as the on-site lead and point person during projects
- Help guide team members through daily priorities and workflow
- Support, mentor, and assist newer staff on site
- Identify issues proactively and help implement solutions
- Communicate project progress, concerns, and updates to the Owner and the team
- Serve as a calm and professional liaison between clients, team members, and the Owner
Hands-On Downsizing & Moving Work
- Pack, unpack, sort, declutter, and organize household contents
- Assist with furniture placement, hanging artwork, and setting up new living spaces
- Handle fragile, sentimental, and valuable items with care and attention to detail
- Lift and carry packed items and household contents (up to 30 lbs)
- Clean and prepare spaces once contents are removed
- Adapt to changing project needs and priorities throughout the day
Other
- Attend weekly virtual management meeting (1 hour in the evening)
Schedule & Hours
- Shifts generally fall between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM
- Hours vary based on workload - Some weeks may have little or no work during slower periods; Busy periods may involve 30+ hours per week, including multiple consecutive days
- Occasional weekend or extended days may be required with advance notice
- The current week's schedule will be provided on the Friday prior
- Flexibility and availability are important
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in downsizing, moving, organizing, logistics, or hands-on service work
- Comfortable leading by example in a physical work environment
- Strong communication and people skills
- Organized, dependable, and adaptable
- Physically able to perform packing and lifting tasks
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
- Ability to drive a 16-foot cube truck (nice to have but not required)
- Experience working with seniors or in client-facing care roles (nice to have but not required)
Compensation & Benefits
- $22-$25/hour
- 3%-5% Commission (after probation)
- Mileage reimbursement

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
