Reporting to the Assistant Hardware Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
- Demonstrate the behaviours and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
- Provide Legendary Service through various touch points and communication channels.
- Provide pump island and in-store service; serve guests, dispense fuel and propane, operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, stock shelves, face shelves, and perform general housekeeping duties.
- Maintain a safe and efficient area while adhering to company policies, procedure, and standards in social responsibility and the selling of age restricted items relating to lottery, tobacco, wine, spirits, and beer.
- Knowledge and understanding of the point of sale (POS) system, pumps and propane.
- Receive, price and display merchandise as required as specified by the team leader.
- Complete the necessary daily reconciliations and reports.
- Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.

- Honest and trustworthy, are results oriented, and are proud of the work that you do.
- Well organized, capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision.
- Customer service experience especially in the CRS would be considered an asset.
- Ability to fulfill physical job requirements – standing, working inside and outside, lifting 20 to 25 pounds regularly.
- POS experience and have the ability to work in a fast paced, guest facing environment.
- Flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays.
- Willing to obtain WHMIS and propane dispensing certification.
