Full-Time RVT Opportunity – Sundre, Alberta
Pioneer Veterinary Services is a privately owned mixed animal practice with locations in Olds and Sundre, Alberta. We are seeking a Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) to join our collaborative team primarily based out of our Sundre location.
This opportunity is ideal for an RVT who enjoys strong small animal surgical and anesthesia involvement and client communication while still appreciating the variety and hands-on experience that mixed practice offers.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality anesthesia, surgical monitoring, diagnostics, dentistry, and patient care.
- Provide clear and empathetic client education and discharge support.
- Assist with mixed animal appointments and ambulatory support as part of team rotations.
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
- Participate in shared after-hours and weekend call rotations.
Qualifications
- Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) with ABVTA registration in good standing.
- Strong skills in small animal anesthesia, surgery support, diagnostics, dentistry, and client communication.
- Bovine and/or Equine experience considered an asset.
- Experience with Cornerstone or similar veterinary software preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to occasionally travel between locations.
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and motivated to continue learning.

Schedule
- Full-time position.
- Primarily Monday–Friday scheduling.
- Rotational Saturday shifts at the Sundre clinic with weekday time off in lieu.
