Sidekick Child Development Centre is a centre-based clinic in the Greater Toronto Area, supporting neurodivergent children and their families with evidence-based ABA, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, parent coaching, school readiness, and social skills groups.
We do things differently. Too many skilled clinicians burn out inside disorganized, churn-heavy practices. We’re built around two things: doing right by kids, and being a place clinicians actually want to stay — manageable caseloads, real administrative support, predictable scheduling, and genuine respect.
About the role
We’re hiring a Lead Behaviour Analyst — our most senior clinical role. You’ll hold full clinical authority: assessing each child, designing their individualized ABA program, and supervising the Behaviour Technicians (BTs) who deliver it. Our operations and administrative team handle scheduling, intake, and day-to-day logistics, so your time goes to clinical work, not paperwork.
Why you’ll want this role
· Real clinical autonomy — you make the clinical calls.
· Caseloads kept sane by design, with supervision ratios that respect ethical limits.
· Admin handled — scheduling, intake, and documentation are supported operationally.
· A clear path to broader clinical leadership as our team and locations grow.
· A culture that treats clinicians, families, and children with equal respect.
What you’ll do
· Conduct intake and skills assessments for each child.
· Design and continually adjust individualized, evidence-based ABA programs.
· Supervise and mentor Behaviour Technicians, meeting CPBAO/BACB supervision standards.
· Review session data, monitor progress, and adjust programs.
· Lead parent coaching and family meetings.
· Maintain PHIPA-compliant clinical documentation and uphold CPBAO/BACB ethical standards.
What you need
· Registration in good standing with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (RBA, Ont.) — required. Since July 1, 2024, only CPBAO-registered professionals may use the “Behaviour Analyst” title in Ontario.
· Master’s degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
· Approximately 1,500 hours of supervised ABA fieldwork.
· Experience working with autistic and/or developmentally diverse children.
· A clear Vulnerable Sector Check (or willingness to obtain one).
· Your own professional liability insurance.
Assets (not required): BCBA certification; experience supervising BTs/RBTs; strength in parent coaching; multilingual ability or experience serving the GTA’s diverse communities.
Pay and hours
$55–$85 per hour, based on experience. This is an independent contractor (T4A) role, approximately 8–15 hours per week to start and scaling with caseload. Rates are set above salaried-equivalent pay to reflect that, as a contractor, you cover your own taxes, insurance, and CPBAO fees.
How to apply
Apply through Indeed with your résumé and a few sentences on your approach to supervising BTs and partnering with families. Please include your CPBAO (RBA, Ont.) registration number.
