The Basic Gist:

Hi, my name is The Mule. I love chef-inspired tacos, cult classics, tequila drinks, GOOD tunes, vegetarians, bourbon, graffiti, vegans, mood lighting, queso & YOU.

I should also mention I'm 100% gluten free. And I'm 100% serious about that. Our bartenders have crafted a bourbon -and tequila- focused cocktail menu that will surprise and fascinate, and we also have a variety of beers on tap.

We offer a variety of fare that is sure to satisfy either the most dedicated carnivore or delight your vegetarian and/or vegan side.

The Job:

We are looking for a new support staff member to join our team. What is a support staff member you ask? You would wear a couple of hats including, host, food runner, busser, barback, expo, and based on your specified role each day your responsibilities can include:

Being passionate about delivering the best experience through attentive and friendly service
Greeting all guests as they walk through the restaurant,
Managing and prioritizing the restaurant waitlist, and ensuring the front door is managed effectively,
Answering any incoming phone calls and politely answering any questions to the best of your ability,
Ensuring food is properly presented prior to running it out to a guest,
Delivering food to tables and ensuring guests have all they need,
Offering assistance to guests by clearing away dishes, glassware, and refilling beverages as needed,
Bussing and resetting tables with a sense of urgency,
Re-stocking service areas throughout the shift,
Emptying trash and spot sweeps whenever floor needs it,
Performing opening and closing responsibilities in a timely and detailed manner,

Following all safety and sanitation policies and procedures,
Contributing to a friendly & cooperative work environment by assisting all other team members as needed
Receiving direction from The Mule's Management team.

The ideal candidate will have:

Availability to work day time/late nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
Available until 2AM on weekends (required)
Weekend availability (Saturday & Sunday) is required.
Smart Serve Certification is required.
