Could you be the full-time BIM Coordinator in Toronto, ON we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your coordination and design expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic, collaborative, and innovative teammates.
You'll play a central role in reducing the carbon footprint of Canada’s busiest public transit system. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including subsystem design teams, civil partners, and engineering managers), review and validate design models, and ensure compliance with the BIM Execution Plan (BEP), and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of creating models in Autodesk Civil 3D and Revit, but also assist in preparing and maintaining federated models and facilitating coordination meetings.
We’ll look to you for:
Assessing Civil inputs for quality and usability and providing these inputs for subsystem design development
Creating Dynamo scripts to support design processes
Ensuring subsystem BIM models comply with BIM Execution Plan requirements
Coordinating between subsystems and other civil partners on the project
Assisting in creating and maintaining the federated model
Ensuring proper use and updates of BIM guidelines and processes throughout the design process
Following up on schedules defined by the System BIM Manager and Project Engineering Manager
Participating in process and “Metier” improvement workgroups, proposing updates and improvements
Reporting anomalies and proposing enhancements to the reference library and standards

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Engineering or equivalent education
BIM and/or AutoCAD Certification
Hands-on experience with Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, ProjectWise, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), and GIS
5+ years of BIM coordination experience on complex projects
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to collaborate with customers and partners
Quality-focused and rigorous with a strong sense of teamwork
Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
Resilience with an analytical mindset to solve complex coordination issues

Compensation
The expected compensation for this role is $90,000 – $105,000 CAD per year, plus benefits and eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
