SaskExpress Musical Theatre Studio Saskatoon is a high-quality performing arts studio that provides opportunities for students, aged 3 to adult, to train in singing, dancing, and acting in a fun, creative, and inclusive environment.

We are seeking passionate and skilled Vocal Instructors to join our team. Contract starts Sept 2026. The instructors will teach vocals to recreational Musical Theatre classes, ages 4-14. Candidates will enjoy working with children and be able to foster a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and instruct lesson plans for students of different skill levels and ages, helping them develop their technique, confidence, and love for music and singing.
Teach vocals/singing with emphasis on proper technique, anatomy, and music theory
Provide constructive feedback and support to students to enhance their performance
Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students
Prepare students for performances
Adhere to studio policies and safety guidelines

Qualifications

Proven experience in teaching and tutoring, particularly in vocal instruction.
Strong background in early childhood education and classroom management.
Ability to engage and connect with children effectively.
Familiarity with diverse learning styles and adaptability in instructional methods.
Excellent communication skills and a passion for music education
