Full job description

Looking for a FP&A Senior Associate to help expand a fast-growing advisory practice that works mainly with emerging startup/technology clients across North America. Reporting to the Co-CEOs, the successful candidate will assist in the development and maintenance of sophisticated strategic and financial analyses including financial modelling, analytics, KPI metrics, and business insights.

What the role entails:

Building detailed operational and financial models
Performing financial and strategic analyses to support business insights, fundraising and long-term planning
Engaging with the client to be on top of business updates and ensure key business drivers are understood and reflected in all analyses
Updating and improving existing client financial models
Assisting with data analytics and dashboards
Collecting and analyzing industry research and trends
Preparing internal and external client presentations and proposals
Ad hoc projects for the benefit of our clients

What you bring:

1 to 3 years experience in Valuations, Modelling, Investment Banking, Consulting, Private Equity or Venture Capital
Previous experience building three-statement financial models
Post-Secondary education in business administration, accounting, finance or equivalent (CPA/CFA/CBV etc)
Advanced knowledge in Excel and Google Sheets
Strong financial/analytical skills related to corporate finance
Outstanding analytical and communication skills (written and verbal)
Motivated, self-starter with a strong work ethic
Ability to manage competing deadlines
Experience working in remote and autonomous environments

Nice to have:

Knowledge of data tools (i.e. Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio, etc)
SQL or Python

Pay: $75,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
