We are a 44-year-old onshore contact center company. We serve the US and Canadian mid-market across voice, chat, and SMS. We just moved onto the Amazon Connect platform, the biggest in the world, and we are scaling up quickly, building to 50M. Not with a bigger army of people. With a small team of sharp humans pointed at a growing army of AI agents.
We need the person who runs the finance role engine.
What you will own
· Close the books fast. Four business days or less. Clean every time.
· Run finance on QuickBooks and keep it pristine.
· Build one source of truth. Connect Amazon Connect, billing, payroll, and the general ledger into a single data spine.
· Direct an AI agentic finance team. The agents do the grind. You set the strategy and keep the controls tight.
· Automate reconciliations, AR/AP, and reporting so they run with barely a human touch.
· Deliver board-ready numbers monthly. Cash flow, margin by client, and a rolling forecast.
· Partner with our fractional CFO on the road to 50M.
This is not a seat where you babysit spreadsheets. This is where you automate the machine.
Who you are
· 7+ years in finance, with 3+ as a controller.
· CPA designation required.
· Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
· Fluent in QuickBooks. You know it cold, from close to custom reporting.
· You have owned a full monthly close, start to finish.
· You have actual experience running or working alongside an AI agentic finance team, not just a ChatGPT tab.
· You have rebuilt a broken process, not just kept the lights on.
· Hands-on with finance automation. ERP, FP&A tools, RPA, or AI agents. You have shipped one.
· You read raw data without flinching. SQL, Power BI, or Tableau is your friend.
· Bonus: recurring revenue services or BPO experience, cross-border US/Canada accounting, or a capital raise under your belt.

· When work doubles, your first instinct is a system, not a stack of new hires.
· You know the difference between asking AI and commanding it.
· You know where a human must stay in the loop, and where the machine should run alone.
Here is the test we will actually ask: design a finance function for a 50M services company using the fewest humans possible. If you reach for systems, we want to talk. If you reach for an org chart, you are not our fit.

Compensation
Base salary: $100,000 to $120,000, depending on experience.
Growth bonus: up to 35% of base, tied to revenue milestones, close speed, and automation savings. You help build 50M, you earn like it.
