Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our dental office. This role requires proficiency in electronic medical records and familiarity with dental office software, ensuring smooth communication and efficient scheduling.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in and check-out processes.
Schedule appointments and confirm patient visits using dental software such as Dentrix or Epic.
Maintain accurate patient records in electronic medical records systems.
Handle phone systems to manage incoming calls, answer inquiries, and provide information about services.
Process patient payments and insurance claims accurately.
Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar front desk role within a dental or medical office is preferred.
Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems; experience with Dentrix or Epic is highly desirable.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with patients and staff.
Familiarity with phone systems and administrative duties related to office management.
