Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook/Supervisor to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, delivering high-quality food and exceptional service to our guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong cooking skills, food safety knowledge, and leadership abilities to oversee daily kitchen activities effectively. This position offers an opportunity to grow within the food industry while maintaining a focus on excellence in food preparation and service.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards
Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols
Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control to meet customer expectations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed
Train new team members on food safety, cooking techniques, and restaurant policies
Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings
Ensure all food served is fresh, safe, and meets quality standards

Experience

Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is required, preferably in a supervisory role
Proven skills in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Experience with kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
Strong serving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Familiarity with the food industry trends and customer service excellence is highly desirable
