Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of medical office procedures, and familiarity with electronic medical records or the ability to easily learn to navigate complicated computer programs.

Clientele engagement is the priority at The De Pieri Clinic, so every day tasks must be accomplished with an ever-friendly and professional demeanor and excellent communication skills.

Must be comfortable discussing aesthetic and medical procedures.

Duties

Greet patients and visitors warmly, creating a welcoming environment at the front desk
Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and relay messages
Assist with check-in and check-out processes, including collecting payment for appointments
Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments in accordance with office protocols
Process payments for appointments
Maintain organized patient files and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and correspondence
Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate efficient patient flow and office operations

Requirements

Prior experience as a Medical Office Assistant and proficiency with Electronic Medical Records systems is preferred. However, we will consider any experience demonstrating good time management, customer service skills, and ability to learn
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multi-line phone systems effectively in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
Professional appearance and demeanor suitable for a healthcare environment
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
