The Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary invites applications for a Sessional Instructor to teach Fall 2026 MKTG 493 L01 (Strategic Marketing) Tuesday 11:00am - 1:45pm. Classes in the Fall 2026 semester run from September 1 to December 4, 2026. Registrar Scheduled Exams will take place between December 8 to December 18, 2026, if applicable.

The calendar description of the course:
"Marketing strategy is explored in the context of overall corporate strategy. Integrates the aspects of the market mix into formal planning systems. The focus of the course is on strategic responses to changing customer needs and competitive activities."
Qualifications

MBA degree or equivalent and work experience in the field are desirable.

Previous post secondary teaching experience is required.

Teaching experience using Marketing Strategy simulation games (e.g., MarkStrat, Sabre) is desirable.
